COOKIE POLICY

Effective Date: 02.06.2026 | Version 1.1

1. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device (computer, tablet, or mobile phone) when you visit a website or use a web-based application. They allow the platform to recognise your device on subsequent visits, remember your preferences, and collect information about how you use the service.

Cookies may be set directly by us ("first-party cookies") or by third-party service providers whose functionality we have integrated into the Platform ("third-party cookies"). Cookies may be "session cookies", which are deleted when you close your browser, or "persistent cookies", which remain on your device for a set period or until you delete them.

In addition to cookies, the Platform may use similar tracking technologies such as web beacons, pixel tags, and local storage objects. References to "cookies" in this Policy encompass all such technologies unless otherwise specified.

2. Categories of Cookies We Use

2.1 Essential Cookies

Essential cookies are strictly necessary for the operation of the Platform. They enable core functions such as user authentication, session management, security features (including protection against cross-site request forgery), and the recording of your cookie consent preferences. Without these cookies, the Platform cannot function properly.

Essential cookies do not require your consent and cannot be disabled through the cookie consent tool, as they are integral to the provision of the service you have requested. They do not collect information used for marketing or analytics purposes.

2.2 Functional Cookies

Functional cookies allow the Platform to remember choices you have made — such as your dashboard layout preferences, progress through the onboarding questionnaire, and Interactive Brokers connection state — and provide enhanced, personalised features. These cookies improve your experience but are not strictly necessary for the Platform to operate.

Functional cookies currently used on the Platform are set exclusively by CRESCO TECHNOLOGIES LTD and do not transmit data to third parties.

2.3 Analytical Cookies

Analytical cookies collect information about how visitors use the Platform, such as which pages are visited most frequently, how long users spend on particular sections, and whether error messages are received. This information is used in aggregated and anonymised form to help us understand user behaviour and improve the performance and design of the Platform.

We currently use Google Analytics (provided by Google LLC) for analytical purposes. These tools set cookies on your device that collect usage data which is transmitted to and processed on servers operated by those providers, which may be located outside the UAE. Please refer to Google's privacy policies for further information on how they process this data.

Analytical cookies require your consent and will only be placed if you have accepted them through the cookie consent tool.

2.4 Marketing Cookies

Marketing cookies are used to track your activity across websites and platforms in order to deliver advertising that is relevant to your interests, to measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, and to limit the frequency with which you see a particular advertisement. These cookies may share data with advertising partners, social media platforms, and analytics providers.

We may use marketing cookies from providers including Meta Platforms, Inc. (Facebook/Instagram), LinkedIn Corporation, and TikTok Inc. Each of these providers operates its own data processing infrastructure, which may include servers located outside the UAE. Users are encouraged to review the privacy and cookie policies of these providers.

Marketing cookies require your consent and will only be placed if you have explicitly accepted them through the cookie consent tool.

3. Legal Basis for Cookie Processing

The Company processes data collected through cookies on the following legal bases under the ADGM Data Protection Regulations 2021:

  • – Essential cookies: processed on the basis of contractual necessity and legitimate interests, as they are required to deliver the service you have requested and to maintain the security and integrity of the Platform.
  • – Functional cookies: processed on the basis of the Company's legitimate interests in providing an enhanced and personalised user experience, subject to your right to object.
  • – Analytical cookies: processed on the basis of your consent, obtained through the cookie consent tool prior to the placement of these cookies.
  • – Marketing cookies: processed on the basis of your explicit consent, obtained through the cookie consent tool prior to the placement of these cookies.

4. Managing Your Cookie Preferences

4.1 Cookie Consent Tool

When you first access the Platform, a cookie consent banner will be displayed. You may accept all cookies, reject non-essential cookies, or configure your preferences by category (functional, analytical, marketing) through the consent management tool.

You may review and update your cookie preferences at any time by accessing the cookie settings panel available in the footer of the Platform. Withdrawing consent to non-essential cookies will not affect the functionality of the core Platform features or any prior processing based on your earlier consent.

4.2 Browser-Level Controls

You may also manage or delete cookies at any time through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to: (i) view all cookies stored on your device; (ii) delete specific cookies or all cookies; and (iii) block the setting of cookies by all or specific websites. Please refer to your browser's help documentation for instructions. Please note that disabling essential cookies through your browser may impair the functionality of the Platform, including your ability to log in and maintain an authenticated session.

4.3 Opt-Out Tools for Third-Party Analytics and Marketing

In addition to the consent tool on the Platform, you may opt out of specific third-party tracking tools using the mechanisms provided by those providers.

5. Third-Party Cookies and Cross-Site Tracking

Third-party cookies set by providers such as Google, LinkedIn, and TikTok are governed by those providers' own privacy and cookie policies. The Company does not control the behaviour of third-party cookies, including the data they collect, how long they persist, or how that data is used by the relevant provider. By consenting to analytical or marketing cookies, you acknowledge that your usage data may be transmitted to and processed by these thirdparty providers in accordance with their own terms.

The Company does not use third-party cookies to create individual behavioural profiles for the purpose of making automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects in relation to any user.

6. International Transfers via Cookies

Some of the third-party providers whose cookies are used on the Platform process data on servers located outside the UAE. In particular, Google LLC and Meta Platforms, Inc. operate globally and may process cookie-collected data in the United States or other jurisdictions. The Company takes appropriate steps when engaging these providers, including reviewing their compliance with applicable international data transfer standards. For further information, please refer to the relevant provider's privacy policy.

7. Cookie Retention Periods

Session cookies are deleted automatically when you close your browser or end your session on the Platform. Persistent cookies remain on your device for the duration specified in the cookie table in Section 3, or until you delete them through your browser settings. You may delete all cookies stored by the Platform at any time by clearing your browser's cookies and site data, subject to the impact on essential Platform functionality.

8. Cookies and Minors

The Platform is intended solely for use by individuals aged 18 and over. The Company does not knowingly use cookies to collect data from individuals under the age of 18. If you believe that a minor is using the Platform, please notify us at info@joincresco.com

9. Updates to This Cookie Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the cookies we use, applicable law, or our data processing practices. Any material update will be communicated via the cookie consent banner upon your next visit to the Platform or, where appropriate, by email notification. The "Effective Date" at the top of this Policy indicates when the most recent version came into effect. Your continued use of the Platform following any update constitutes your acknowledgement of the revised Policy.
